Honda HP2

Happen to find several bottle of Honda HP2 oil in the back of the storeroom, after 15 years, they are still un-open.

Can I still use these oil and what percentage to mix gasoline for running todays's engines?

Appreciate for your input.

what brand and ratio was always a good way to start the fights. I run my full mod zenoahs at 8oz per gal .some have had some issues with hp2 and some engine builders tell you to use it? ask 10 people and you will get 10 different answers

The oil should still be good. Most would recommend between 8-10oz per gallon.

Thanks for the info, Could some body convert the units to how many cc of oil to one litre (1000c.c.) of gas.

So between 236cc-300cc per 3.87L which scales down to 61cc-77cc per liter.

I just tore down an engine that's not had a bolt removed from it since it was modded since 2009 and I use Honda HP-2. The insides look remarkedly well after all of those years.I know that Carlo at CC-Racing doesn't like it but I've got no complaints.

I heard that Honda will no longer carry it but I haven't had to buy any for a while. If not I'll go to Lucas or Quicksilver.
