Ryan,
You don't show the nose of the cowl but for that I would use a piece of 1/8" plywood about an inch wide and slot the hull to fit.. Then shape some 1.5 inch aluminum angle maybe 1/16 thick and glass that into the cowl for some 1" 1/4"fender washers and place Hardwood blocks in the corners of the hull (Fitted of course), so you could install a set of earth magnets with cups so cowl fits flush with hull.. Hope this helps when I remove the tape from my hydro I'll post pics but I put the angle in hull and glassed plywood to cowl..
