A huge thank you to FAST members Mike Nowicki, Mark Stein and Mikey Ross for all their help getting the new gate up to secure our site.

Also, a very special thank you to long time D2 member Doug Murany and his sons Dave & Matt for all their hard work cleaning up the site and fixing our laneway, it's selfless individuals like these that make me proud to be involved in this great sport of ours!

Dave Murany shows who boss:

We finally figured out why it was always wet in our area, an old concrete culvert that drains the highway was busted and leaked badly, new drainage installed:

We put drainage tile further down the lane to catch any excess runoff:

Doug Murany made it all possible by bringing his tractor for the day, thanks again Doug. BTW, sixty something Doug is no slouch with the shovel either!

FAST member Mike Nowicki did all the welding on the new gate, check out those hinges!

FAST member Mark Stein hard at work. Mark got the steel tubing through a buddy and had a big part in designing our new gate, his welder sure got a workout!

Mark did some digging and found this lock is unbeatable:

Mike came up with a great idea to protect it further:

All secure, John Bridge himself would be proud!

See you at our Spring event May 4 & 5th!

So Terry when are you going down to sand the gate metal? Looks like it could take shine and we all know how you like things neat .

When you finish sanding you might look into putting a coat of clear endura on it to keep it looking shinny.

Very nice work guys.
