I get mine from Al Hobbs Billet less money and way nicer just saying

While the AA 45 headers are well made keep in mind they have a ID of .568 vs .630 of the CMB header which is a much closer match to the CMB engine exhaust port. There may be some unwanted restriction of the exhaust flow.

I now have both headers and you don't need a measuring tool to see the difference. I'm glad you shared this info. I could have been trapping some much needed Horsepower.

Larry,

Let me know how the bigger header I.D. works for you in back to back testing?
I do not think the exhaust port square area on the sleeve is anywhere close to the
exhaust port I.D. opening of the motor case casting.
