I've read pieces where he sees figuring out a way to link to the brain as a possible way to address neurological disorders, also where some type of neuro interactions could be possible which certainly is nothing new (remember Firefox? You must think in Russian... ). Regardless he has been very consistent with his fears of AI becoming a runaway technology and for good reason. Either way he's more of a good guy than a bad guy in my personal opinion.

Yep, have to agree....guessin' a bit of eccentricity comes with having a **** ton of money.
Would be a breath of fresh air to see a guy of his stature just do the right thing for the whole of humanity.

And, here we are, a week or so later. What's happened in the past few days:

• Elon Musk has succeeded in taking over the "Twitterverse"
• Every leftist on the planet has attacked him as a racist, or worse
• The Twitter staff is in chaos, not knowing what to do next to appease the left and still keep their jobs
• Several of the people that were cancelled by the left are making a comeback, much to the left's dismay

I will be honest here, don't know hardly anything about Elon Musk. What I do know is that he's shaken up the left at least as much as Donald Trump did by winning the Presidency in 2016. With all signs pointing to:

• Donald Trump running again in 2024
• a red tsunami being predicted for the 2022 midterms
• more and more evidence that the DNC and the Clinton campaign are probably guilty of the very things they accused Donald Trump of
• The Biden family beginning to be held to account for crimes that were brought to light by the laptop and Hunter's business associates' testimony

I see a major change in this country in 2023. Only time will tell if it's going to be good or bad but, as things stand now, I don't see it being any worse than what we're already experiencing
