You can make one with just a simple lathe machine can’t you. If so. What is the best material to use. I know some have used brass but what’s the benefit of using brass?

I will make you a head button. Before I do, you say you need a button for a cmb purple head 45 ? That bore I believe is the same as the new Evo RS 45 and that button will probably work. Measure the bore of your engine. Measure the thickness of the head button that sits above the sleeve. Cmb dealer Stu Barr can tell you if it compares . The Vac and V5 have smaller bores. Jeff Lutz
