MIchael, you forgot the left's obsession with CRT and trying to force green energy and electric vehicles down our throats. What they didn't(and won't) take into account is that the electrical grid can't handle the load, it takes fossil fuel fired generator plants to get the electricity to feed the grid or, what the Biden administration wants, total dependance on China for the solar panels, wind mills and batteries to power all of the green energy stuff they are raving about. Too bad they don't remember what happened it Texas last winter, people died due to lack of electricity due to a freak storm that froze the wind farms and crippled the solar panel fields.
As for what has the Republican Party done for me, Florida Scale Boater and Grimracer hit a majority of them but they did miss one. The Democrats are trying to take my job away. With their green energy pipedreams, it would wipe out the transportation industry. Trucking, trains and aircraft can't work without fossil fuels. Trucks deliver everything to the stores we shop in and the raw materials to the facilities that make the things we buy. Trains transport the materials and finished goods to terminals where it's loaded on the trucks for delivery. Aircraft fly us to where we want to go at least seven times faster than what it would take us to drive the same distance in petroleum powered vehicles. Change that to electric cars, you just added at least an hour for recharging every 250-300 miles. If I were to take a Ford F150 Lightning and use it to pull my 26ft trailer to Mobile Alabama, it's 2713 miles each way. I would have to recharge every 100 or so miles for at least an hour(yes this is a known distance as tested by The Fast Lane Truck) They got 88 miles on a full charge before having to stop and recharge as shown here:
That said, it would take me, at least, an additional 28 hours EACH WAY to go from my house to Mobile Alabama. Since I can make the same trip with my gas fueled Tahoe with a range of over 200 miles per 26 gallon tank(again, a known number as found traveling cross country with my trailer multiple times at speeds of 60-70MPH on the freeway) AND a fill up time of under 10 minutes, it would take me less than half as many fuel stops and let me travel more than twice as far between them while taking at least an hour less per refueling stop

Wow when did we become energy independent? Covid which was mishandled by Trump had an effect on closing the border. It also artificially lowered gas prices. And killed a lot of our citizens.
Low interest is nice but helps fuel a recession. The booming economy was for the wealthy given tax breaks the common worker didn't get.
Not a party-political issue but the failure of the Texas power grid was linked to not planning for cold weather and saving cost of weather proofing their system. How did that work out.
The Retrumplicans find fault with everything and just name call yet have no solutions. Affordable Care Act was going to ruin everything. They want to repeal it though with faults it is working. Again, never a plan to fix it just repeal and never plan to replace.
Here is the list of first year legislation which Trump boasted about.

Shall I reply one point at a time? Here we go:
  1. In 2020, the US was exporting more fossil fuels than it was importing. Had the US stopped importing, it would have not affected the US a bit, making the US energy independent
  2. Covid was an unknown. NO COUNTRY HANDLED IT WELL, knowing what we know now. People were quarantined because no one knew what they were dealing with and EVERYONE WAS LISTENING TO DR ANTHONY FAUCI!!!! It later came to light that he was telling everyone the exact same thing when AIDS was the dreaded disease and that his organization was feeding funding to the lab where Covid is believed to have come from, not an open-air market
  3. Most economists would beg to differ. Low interest rates let more people buy homes and new vehicles than in the past
  4. When was the last time, prior to last winter, that Texas had sub-freezing temperatures for a long term? Who was running the show when the wind farms and solar panels were installed?
  5. The so called "Affordable Care Act wasn't working. It was forcing millions of people to choose between breaking the law or paying for government-imposed health care coverage. It was forcing small business owners to choose between having enough employees and having to close due to the costs imposed by the government
Rather than look at President Trump, who made good on all of his election promises(at least as far as the democrats would let him), let's look at the failures of the bought and paid for Joe Biden
  1. He invited illegal immigration and, between him and Alejandro Mayorkas, have made the borders a cartel run mess
  2. He and his Homeland Security Secretary are flying illegals all over the country on late night secret flights
  3. He's doing everything he can to destroy the US fossil fuel industry
  4. He has removed all of the previous administrations America First policies when it comes to China
  5. He's shipped MILLIONS OF BARRELS OF OIL TO CHINA OUT OF THE STRATEGIC RESERVE TO A COMPANY HIS SON HAS FINANCIAL INTERESTS IN
  6. He totally mishandled the withdrawal from Afghanistan, resulting in 13 US soldiers dead, hundreds(if not thousands) of US citizens and those that helped the US military left behind and the Taliban ruling the country and then crowed about it as a success
  7. He's trying to reinstitute the Iranian Nuclear Agreement that will result in the US giving Iran BILLIONS OF DOLLARS WITH NO WAY TO PROVE IRAN IS HOLDING UP THEIR END
And that is just part of his failures. I think Grim is right, we have a good idea who's pulling the strings, my guess is Barack Obama and the Clintons

Ah yes let's keep blaming the c0vid deaths on Trump. Enough of that already, the left is so quick to forget it was the Dems who totally railed against Trump about restricting travel and closing borders early on because of c0vid. Oh how quick you forget Pelosi saying on national news "come to Chinatown don't listen to Trump, there's nothing to fear". The same non stop crap from DeBlasio, Cuomo, Whitmere, Wolf, Newsome, on and on. And there have been more c0vid deaths under Biden but I guess that's Trump's fault too. And it did not have an effect on the border, stricter enforcement was the key to slow downs which is no longer happening. The failure of the Texas power grid was directly caused by DOE refusing to allow them to ramp up output ahead of the weather because it would raise emissions level outputs at the plants above Federal limits. And this one made me bust out laughing - "Low interest is nice but helps fuel a recession". No, reckless printing and spending causes recessions. You do realize that 40% of ALL the money EVER printed in U.S. history has been printed in the last 15 months......

And now, more information on how well the F-150 Lightning did from California to Washington with a pop-up camper added to it. The number of stops is pretty telling IMHO

And, of course, there had to be issues driving the Lightning to Alaska, so here you go

Okay then, give us your VERIFIABLE SOURCE for each
  1. 19th Amendment allows anyone to vote, regardless of sex
  2. 21st Amendment repealed the 18th, with some limitations as shown here: 21st Amendment Summary
  3. What, exactly, did the bill about Social Security do that the Republicans wouldn't accept it?
  4. What, exactly, did the bill about Medicare do that the Republicans wouldn't accept it?
  5. What, exactly, did the bill about the Civil Rights Act do that the Republicans wouldn't accept it?
  6. What, exactly, did the bill about the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act do that the Republicans wouldn't accept it?
  7. The Affordable Care Act I covered in my last post
  8. What is the Pact Act and why did the Republicans reject it?
Not all of this legislation was helping millions. Some of it was detrimental to millions

Hey Mark, sorry my post wasn't clearer. It was a list of things the democrats have done that I approve of.

If you look closely at my post, 3 items I indicated with an asterisk were: Social Security, Medicare and the Affordable Care Act.

These are without a doubt programs that Republicans are opposed to. There is a long history of that.

I have to throw my 2 cents in...I'm not political however, last 2 years of Pres. Trump our businesses did really great. The first Biden year we dropped waay down. Not yet recovered. I have a sign and graphic business and my lady has a mobile loan doc notary signing service. Both of us in business for many years (50) As soon as Biden and friends stepped in we both crashed to about 40%!
You know how we will vote. Can't stand seeing our resources going to other countries while we decline. Spend the $ at home and help homeless.
OK, got that off my chest. I am going back into racing-nitro-A mono & X htdro. Still have both from mid 80's. Both record holders.
But I won't be producing my REVENGE fuel. Yep, that was mine.
Happy laps gang!
Don
