Curious as to what you guys are building when you're not working on boats??
Cars, instruments, furniture, houses??
Let's see what you're making (or have made)

I spent 5 or 6 years building a 1993 Nissan 240SX coupe. Some of my boat club buddies have seen this thing in person.
I wanted a car I could cruise on the streets, take to car shows, as well as the occasional track day with.
Drifting has been a huge part of my life for the last decade so I built the car to be very capable of sliding through corners very sideways.

And yes, that's a TV in the dash!

I am currently building a 1955 chevy and maintaining my wife’s 1957 chevy. I am also building a 2000 s10 street/drag truck. I have other hobbies including building and playing guitars

Here is what I do to pay the bills. Did this at a high school I did about 7 years ago. I call it "My seven layer bean dip". 7 layers of conduits in there. Coming from the panels and going to a bunch of contactors to shut down power to all of the outlets in the science labs. Circuits were feeding out of the room at three different directions all cris crossing.

Smiley, did you pull all the wire also.

I'm the guy that designs, builds, installs, wires in, and programs the PLC controls for industrial refrigeration systems.. mostly large industrial freezers and coolers. This panel was designed for controlling a refrigeration rack system in a petrochemical plant.

That job I did just about everything. Built all electrical rooms. Rough in all the branch racks, pulled all the outlet wire and make up, and even did all the security wire/devices as well.
Me and another guy (Kyle) got er done.

My side job just for fun now is designing individual throttle body induction systems. At one point this was my full time job then it became a hobby to help the company continue to develop kits. I have worked on single cylinder kits to V12's with customers just as varied. The bread and butter of this business is the V8 kit car market with the likes of Kirkham Cobra's and Roush. We build downdraft's, cross-rams and all sorts of one-offs creations. My favorites were a rollerbarrel induction kit with dual stage injectors for an import dragracer, Gen 3 Hemi V8's and the late model Coyote V8. Some pics below.

We've got 58mm throttles for big blocks. They are produced up in Johnson City. We can swing by and set you up. Just gotta find a manifold that fits your heads.
