VP-Outboards announcement:
Rob and Eddy have decided to discontinue manufacturing VP-Outboard lowers.
As posted By the man him self Eddy de Vries, Main reason is that we don't have access to previous manufacturing facilities anymore, as well as too low sales quantities to be able to outsource production for reasonable pricing.
Recently we shipped out the last lower intended for sale.
Even though the past gave no reason for it, we reserved one unit in case major spares are needed, or maybe until we can’t resist collector item $$ offers anymore.
For the present VP owners:
Albeit the lack of faith in our flexshafts (mainly spread by a competing outboard reseller) we still have ample and affordable stock of them (given the consumption history probably for the coming decades)
