Up grading a 35 inch mono sightler boat need to know what rudder I can use with a speed master surface drive

Hi Kevin,
Sightler monos were designed for sub-surface drives. However, I do remember a friend of mine who put one together with a surface -drive prop. I would suggest trying the Speedmaster mini rudder or a rudder that is at least 1 inch wide. Try to position the front of the rudder behind the trailing edge of the prop. The rudder will be about 1 1/2 inch to the right of the centerline of the prop. Best prop we found for the .21 size engines was an Octura X440 3 blade.
