No yes.  On of the MISSISSIPPI BOYS needs to have Mark make a head button for the motor.  Had a 60 head button in it

Allen, the tub is 42 in long and 7.5 in wide

Andy, the construction technique is Mark Bullard’s

Sponsons are underway

foam1/16 ply in the middle and more foam

Sponson pattern will be cut out of plexiglass

The plywood was PRE SEALED BEFORE assembly with Total Boat PENETRATING EPOXY. Allowed to dry, sanded 320 assembled and is ready for PPG CLEAR then paint PPG SINGLE STAGE

Thanks

The wood in the middle of the sponson is to prevent the sponson from fracturing between the boom/sponson tubes

I had that happen on my 101 single JAE racing gas hydros at Voodoo about a year ago. Water was rough.

Sponsons are born

The plexiglass template is held on to the sandwich with double stick tape then cut out on the bandsaw

They are then sanded to a perfect match

Sheeting is all that is left

Quick and easy way to build sponsons
