Just learned that Tetra is NO LONGER suppling the LARGE 90 degree fitting for tuned pipe pressure supply.

This was my fitting of choice.

Anyone have a good replacement for this large 90 degree configuration?

Hi Tom
I’ve been using the smaller Tetra on the 21 size engines with no issues, I’d assume it would be okay for 12’s as well. For the larger engines I’ve seen only straight types available, I’m thinking I got some from K&B, what ever they’re called now.

They had a flange inside and a nut outside the pipe

Yes Richard, the large Tetra 90 degree fittings had a flange on inside and secured with a nut on the outside.

I have checked with all known suppliers of this product and they are all gone. Including John Otto and Central Hobbies (airplane guys).

I am looking into product listed below at present time for a replacement

I wanted the large fitting for .67 and above motors.

As stated in a earlier post...I found this for replacement of LARGE 90 degree tettra fitting. I believe it is still available. You only need to make one small modification. The nipple on flange that would be on inside of pipe I cut off. Only the flange is inside pipe. 👍

Yep, the Mecoa piece is nice...especially after putting the Dremel and cut off wheel to that nipple....
Just got my Zipp fittings, and they're really nice, too.
