I like the look of the stingers. What is better using struts or stingers for heat racing? Your opinion ...............
 
Both will work the same IMO,

Stingers are for surface drive style boats so they wouldn't be used on some.

It does come down to cost but Stingers can finitely be adjusted.

The further the prop is away from the transom takes less angle to keep the bow down and the prop has cleaner water than closer.

If you wanted to have something close to a stinger a extended strut works well

I make both stingers and struts and on my opinion stingers are way more adjustable than struts.

With a strut, you loosen the mounting screws and move it to something like "oh, this looks about right. A stinger is infinitely more adjustable.

Only disadvantage is stingers cost more than struts.
