Yes, I built & ran one a few years back.
Good little boat! Mine was built with FWD radio box, fuel tank STBD outside engine. CMB Valvola green head, sport 20 extended strut mounted underneath the hull rudder Port side of transom.
Tindall turnfin.

That was originally an Arno Birts design That Alfred Lanza used to build the Leecraft sport 20. I've been running an origonal wood one as an electric sport hydro. Below is the setup I run. I needed to add to the sponson bottom to get clearance on the front shoe.

I bought an epoxy version in 2007 from Alfred Lanza. There are no bulkheads to stiffen the hull laterally so most are epoxying a carbon tube or rod between the rails that support the deck. I like the Tyndall or MoJo turn fin. Make sure the boat balances at or slightly behind the turn fin.20200329_110427.jpg20200329_110427.jpg

Love the design of that boat! Cowl not real conducive to FE though

I have one of the Lanza layups. Been fighting it a bit, but it’s shown some signs of good speed. They pack a lot of air and you have to run the strut pretty deep. Don’t go too far though or it will walk on the recovery pads.

Got my fin and motor mounts from Mike Hughes. Strut and rudder are Speedmaster. I built the radio box and can send you the measurements. Built one for Ron Shaw too.898FF2B0-193C-4EAE-808D-60B64C4D4A92.jpegC2802D75-5BDE-495B-95CB-9EC8318F6C79.jpeg41FF48BD-F7CF-4955-8CF8-174F69DA3A14.jpeg5C0FEF97-C61A-4C55-BCB6-B112C2861C6C.jpeg898FF2B0-193C-4EAE-808D-60B64C4D4A92.jpegC2802D75-5BDE-495B-95CB-9EC8318F6C79.jpeg41FF48BD-F7CF-4955-8CF8-174F69DA3A14.jpeg
