Merlin

The Merlin motor in 1/10th scale- used in a variety of hydroplanes and over time became the standard motor for the big budget teams of the piston era. As with the other kits they come as printed PLA plastic so assembly and paint are required.

Weight: 3.2 oz for 1/10th scale $30
Other scale sizes: 1/8th scale $45 - 1/7th scale $50 - 1/6th scale $55

Dave , thanks for the info on 3D prints. Might have to go that way

I've been getting my 3D printed Merlin engine pieces from Craig at Spartacus Boatworks. I met him at the Hydroplane and Raceboat Museum when he was taking measurements of the Merlins and Griffon for accuracy. I have Merlin parts for my 83 Atlas and just got some Griffon style exhaust stacks for my 79 Squire project.
