I have several types of remote needles that I have collected over the years.

The old Tidewater "fuel doctor" type 0,,1,,2's

The needles that come with new CMB motors.

And two of Andy's remote needles.

I have always used the tidewater "fuel doctor" type valves.

Is there any advantage to a "needle" type valve over the fuel doctor style ?

Anyone using the CMB remote needle that comes with new motors ?

Talk to Ernie Lefluer out of Winnie Tex. He goes about the remote third channel a little different than the others.Very good workmanship.I can get you a number if you want.

BOB VIOLET. Haven`t found a better 3rd channel valve that will flow steady numbers on a flow meter. ;)

The Ferrette base with the OS in flight is the best we have seen. It fits under cowls and in tight spaces and is comes apart VERY easily.. The only down side is the o ring size that OS uses, in that you have to be careful when changing them.

I love the fuel doctor style third channel. Whether from ernie, Precision Boats, or the older ones. Simple design and consistent and small. Replace the orings every season or two and they cant go wrong.

OS in flight and Ferrette bases for me too. ;) Ya can't go wrong!

I've also had too... many troubles with the BV valves.

Dons base rules!
