very nice job, super tidy
Cheers Jamie ...
yes, that is a clean set-up there (love the KRE carb)
Is your .67DD part of the first batch? (I remember the 1rst release had clear anodized water-cooled head assy)
Also, what type of remote needle are you using?
David i just sanded water jacket back from original..
The needle is OS and kre block.
hi david, is that brass piece in the middle of the t-bar for oiling the shaft?
Looks great. You have a pm
Nice Job David, should be a rocket
Ready for a very early run, time to start running hard now..CMB muffled pipe, hardened prop, and I think finally got the water flow down enough to get more heat, swapped out the water line for some 3/32" tubing and a soldered and drilled outlet nipple 0.60" .
Great run so far ,,,lots of power ,turns the mod 2314 chopper easy at 11" on 60% ,added some weight for stability , next is the new 2317 to try on Sunday ..
Heat treated,balanced 2317 ready to test ,,
Blew the dust off this Sunday and she was impressive..Gotta like the novas.
Been hot lately ..going to test a SPP. with a little more volume ...
Weather was hot around midday..gets off pipe and rich condition...
Need more engine heat perhaps..
Pipe was around 11" i think..

Could lengthen pipe 1/8" or so and lean a tad.
Could Change prop perhaps.
But looking at the plug the base was browning up and getting reasonable heat was aroung (140F)but shiny plug..
May just restrict water more or dare I lean it ..
Bring on winter..
Same pipe prop ...will test the spp next week...
Expected in hot weather..
cool! looking good
No probs thanks David ...this is with stock timing ..going to try a X462 mod next..And also revisit the ABC 2317 option i havent tested properly..
too much heat..will start to run lower case cooling..
