I have a prop in my box that I can’t place ! It says it’s a 1717
Looks like a rigger prop ! Does any one have a clue, what this will be designed for ???

A rigger and it makes work on a sports. But can be a good rigger prop.

19* rake and 38% blade area? It makes a difference. What boats

If it's a 19/38, it would be a good 20 rigger prop, Also a good prop for p-limited rigger with a high kv (2700) motor.

Ok not second guessing you but why the 17/17 ??

At that KVA, that is all the setup can handle. If you go larger, than you start running into heat issue with connector and such. If you look closely at the hub end, you should be able to see the rake/blade area numbers as well. Let me see if I can find the pic that shows you how Jim does his number layout.

Here ya go. Some of those number are hard to see on the small prop. Much easier to make them out when you look at them correctly.
