Quick question for the guys running FE.

I know on the Nitro boats I detoung the prop and put a lynx cut on it help the load.

I was wondering if these mods effect a FE boat the same?

I have not seen much of a parallel to nitro and FE prop mods. A lot depends on the type of hull and weight you're trying to push. Detounging does seem to benefit on Octura FE props. I believe the toung is there for launch and is a lower or progressive pitch. FE torque overcomes launch issues that nitro suffer from. An M series over an X seems to work better on FE.
I do believe diameter is a bit more critical to performance. More in reducing heat buildup from torque vs cutting the trailing edge which in my mind is effectively reducing pitch on the trailing edge cup.
Finding the prop your hull likes is sometimes a crap shoot so experiment and you may find things that shouldn't work will surprise you.
