It was a used Velasco that I purchased and pieced together for my first scale. I will get a picture of the full fitted and installed box tonight

VERY cool Mike! Did you weigh it by chance before you started fitting parts?

i didn’t weigh it, but I wouldn’t expect it to be that much different than a wood box…. If anything a little lighter. I did add some wood squares for additional taping surface area.

Mike
Will the fuel attack that plastic.

Dave

My short term experience... The answer is no. I did coat the outside of the box with epoxy, but that was more to make sure it's water tight.

Long term is unknown. I have parts on my 40 hydro that regularly see raw fuel and I haven't see any issues yet. Fingers crossed.

Mike.. take a length of filament and place it in a fuel sample.. let us know. I will do the same with the TPU I have been using.

S9650's and S3150's are really sensitive to voltage. I have burned a fair number of those out even on the old 5 cell NiMh packs. I am running an old Castle CCBEC to drop the voltage to 5V for boats that still use those servo's.
