I'm going to be drilling a hole for a pressure fitting in my pipe for my .67 ops. I want to know if i need to seal it with liquid theflon or just thread it in the pipe.
Thanks

Which fitting are you using? I never used sealant. But I always use fitting that are installed from the inside and have the nut outside the pipe.

I'm using a threaded fitting installed from the outside

Get a proper pressure fitting that installs from the inside with a nut outside and save yourself a lot of grief...

Micheal, instead of drilling the hole in the pipe, puncture it with a tapered scratch awl to the tap drill size, tap the hole and screw the fitting in.
If you want to seal the threads you can use teflon pipe sealant or silicone gasket sealer.
NEVER had one to strip or come aloose using this technique.

NO grief, just HAPPINESS:):):)
