When I got it the box was in very bad shape, it had. 90 written on box top. It not big enough to hold a 90.

If the hull itself is 37” long , I’d say it is a 67/80 size. The sponsons mounted would give it a overall length of 40-41” . Don did put small block .90’s in this size boat back then also.

exactly, it's a matter of what overall length is (with sponsons mounted). My Coyote .80 ("long wheelbase") is approx. 41" overall length

Actually I think your boat is what Don called the Coyote Boss boat. It had outside rear sponsons like the Coyote but a tapered hull like the Daytona , but it was skinnier. The Daytona had underneath shingle style rear sponsons.
