There is a model boat pond in Bay County Florida off of John Pitts Rd. It is in majette park. The pond is 7.33 acres big. The county is going to put in bleachers and a drivers stand eventually. There used to be clubs and races here along time ago.We are trying to restart the hobby. The boat club has a facebook page . Just look for Bay county Model boat club. Gas or electric and nitro all is welcome . The pond is open to the public so be good neighbors and leave no trace . There is no power or porta john . There is however a convenience store a half mile away. Just google Majette Park and you can find it.
