Outboard Crackerbox

I found on FB Marketplace and let it sit there a while hoping someone else would pull the trigger before I did. I figured it was hard to pass up just for the outboard if nothing else. Sounds like the original owner passed away and friend of the family was helping him sell it. The hull is very nicely built from what looks to be plans based on the pencil marks on the wood. The motor was completely locked up from what can only be described as 10 years worth of sitting on a shelf without oil. Fortunately with a fair bit of heating, cleaning and TLC the motor is in decent shape although the bearings will need replacement. Should be a fun runabout for weekend shenanigan's.

It does look a lot like one of those boats. The bow loop is a dead on match to several seen on that website.
