Without knowing anything all, I`m willing to bet money on that the crankshaft is identical, maybe without the SG shaft.

Basically the new O.S.Speed ”Special Edition” R21M-05 will be an Eurooean exclusive engine from us (Minicars Hobby Distribution in Sweden).

It’s not an engine that will be available through all O.S.Engine distributors world wide. It’s an European Special Edition engine (limited edition) through our (Minicars) B2B network only (we’re an O.S.Engine distributor in Europe). It will be available though our dealer network in the spring of this year.

It’s based on the upcoming new O.S.Speed R2105 on-road engine but with a black marine head and no carb.

That means it has an ”SG” style car DLC coated crank with updated heavier 4.5mm balance weights and a new 9 port sleeve that is matched to the new O.S.Speed crankcase.

Update: the first deliveries to our Minicars dealer network in Europe is expected in June 2023 (awaiting the custom production of the cooling heads).
