I was the third boat at the start, Chris Ripley was in first at the start.
After the first turn I was in second Ripley was in first. I took the lead, Ripley got it back. I was able to get back out in front and that’s how we finished. Very close and very exciting!!

That was a great heat, it was very close. You guys criss crossed positions right in front of my pit/tent.. Juice slipped out to lane 2-3 & you took lane 1. I cringed when it happened expecting the worst!

We stayed really close through the turns but when your going against a great driver you can do that with confidence. Both Chris and I were fired up after that heat. They don’t happen like that one very often but when they do you will never forget it! It was awesome!!
