Hi,

I have a Nova 46 in my Seaducer and was wonder if most people use the stock carb or opt of an aftermarket? What’s a good pipe length to start at? I plan on running 40% nitro, stock head button, .009” clearance.

Thanks for any help and info.

Most use aftermarket. But some use the stock carb amd remove the spring behind the barrel.
Pipe at 9.75” to start.
and I’d try .012” clearance first.

My 46 runs best with NR pipe at 8.5"- 9.0", stinger drilled with 'Z' bit in outrigger

with 2217 and 2219, 60% fuel.... stock bore Speedmaster or larger bore Speedmaster.

Bigger bore carb doesn't like warmer, humid weather.
