Newbie needs help

Okay guys, here's the deal. A newbie, in another forum, started a thread asking for help. Apparently, he bought a package that included a helicopter(he's an experienced pilot of those) and two boats with a bunch of parts that his wife wanted. He wants to assemble them but has no clue on what to do or how to do it. Here's his list of parts:

And that's the problem, Bill. There is a lot of nice stuff but it's not something I do so I can't really help him out. That is why I turned to the guys here that run electrics
