New custom parts for a project

Well this has been a long time coming on this item for the shop. Been slowly over the last couple of weeks cutting out parts welding them up. Here is a sneek peak. Take a guess.

Its not a covid thing. I have been deem a essential worker. So no time off for me. There still is a long list of honey do's that I have to fit in there too.

Looks like the bottom of a portable generator....new axle assembly? Nice work!

Yepper, the other item is another rubber mount leg for the other end. Need bolts to mount, so no pic yet.

Have a swing away handle in the process as well. Waiting on some tubing to complete.

Well its finally done. McMaster Carr lost the tubing order and had to resend. Finished it up and got paint on her yesterday. Final install this morning. Now it can live in its new home in the garage under the work bench. WHich is what started this whole project. Old compressor took a dump after some 30 yrs of use. Got a new stand up 30 gallon one. It would not fit in the old location of compressor. So switch it out with generator. NOw just need to adjust the shelf so the new compressor will fit.
