Boat looks good to me. Not sure about sealing the tub though. Seems like water always finds a way in. Maybe drill holes in the sponson and plug them so u can drain later if needed. Also, how r u going to get flotation in there for that "just in case" sineraio?
 
Went back to see your tub layout and noticed your carb looks a little close to the tank. Some say at least a 1" clearance around the front of carb. I made up an exhaust tube from epoxy glass and it looks pretty good, lite and strong, also thin. send me a number and I can tex you a picture.

Beautiful work - I like the picture sitting on the work bench in front of the window - looking beyond the boat and outside the window. That's what this hobby is all about for me, quality quiet time in the shop followed by some fun at the pond.
