Mounting accessories

I’ve wanted to put together an 1/8 scale hydro for about as long as I’ve played with R/C boats. I recently acquired a drop sponson MTO hull. I have a little guy on the way to sit in the cockpit, along with a dummy Merlin to look the part of spinning the prop. The boat will be nitro, powered by a CMB .67. I need some ideas on how to mount the the driver so he stays put, and the dummy Merlin so I can gain access to start the CMB.

I use a nylon screw up the little guys you know what to hold him in.. as for the motor.. Phil Thomas does this best with his hinged from the front setup.. I did the same on my Bardahl..
