Everything looks real good Chris! Where did you get those rudder brackets? Super scale looking!
Yes, I got them from Don and they are nice. I also put one on the back of my Insane Thunderboat a while back. I was going to put one on my Lauderbach but I had something else that I wanted to try on it.

When I was picking up those wheels the other day (from a club member who had picked them up across town for me) I was noticing that he had those and he had actually bought them from CMDI a few years back and he did mention they weren’t produced any longer. You should see his Lauterbachs, he made them up to be almost identical to the ones he and his brother used to race. Absolutely the most beautiful ones I’ve seen to date.

Here are a few pic of my build. Opinions on motor location? Will be 2011 Graham Trucking.

I’m getting really close now! The cowls on both boats are just about done, I just have to finish the area that covers the carb. I also split the cowling, I can’t stand a big long cowl when your in the pit area and don’t have a place to set it down. I will just need to remove the front section to start it, so it should be a little easier.

Everything looks great Chris. I like that little rig you made for the cowl to slide onto. Did you locate some Rolls Royce Exhaust stacks? I got some in 1/8 scale from Bill Brandt at Rattlesnake Rc for a future project. He has them in different scales in case you need some.

I’m not sure if I’m going to buy some or just make something.

Awwwww! Sisters! Hey ya know if you lose your sponsor Oberto, you can always paint one white and duct tape “Boat” on there and run that way’😂

Really like how you did the cowls.

Trying to be creative!!!

Looks like your pre-primer prep work was pretty solid. It’s looking pretty smooth already!
It was really close. I’ll know better tomorrow when I can look it over in the sun light but as far as I can see I just have a few minor thing to address before I can spray some paint. Very pleased with it to say the least!!
By the way, the Lauderbach ran really well Sunday. I haven’t posted anything because I didn’t get any vids of it running. Very happy with that boat as well!
