MAC #1140 pipe uses?

I know it’s a 7.5 pipe, how do they perform? Any good applications on the boats since it is an aero pipe?

Was the recommended pipe for Picco 45s, pretty popular on the left coast. Correction, my memory was bad, the 1160 was the recommended pipe not the 1140, the 1240, (muffled version of the 1140) was the preferred pipe for airplanes. Noise restrictions at most airplane fields made the straight pipe a poor seller.
