Good to hearths it does not affect the handling but you would be surprised under high speed photography how much they do flex. Someone posted some high speed photos of riggers at a race going through the corner and it was amazing how much they move!!

Yeah, I'd imagine at 70+ mph the starboard side digs in pretty hard... Well, hopefully those booms hold up.
