A few times over the last couple of years I’ve heard this spoke about. Some have said ”You can race up just not down “. Is this really correct ? F hydro for Impba is 0.671-1.83. So technically it would seem a single engine measuring exactly 0.670 would not be F legal ? Jeff Lutz
 
If it isn’t enforced it should be. You can’t get a D record with a B boat for example, shouldn’t be able to race it like that either if the class is specifically designated. IMPBA rules seem straight forward on that for anyone who may not be following it.
