Bill, boating is currently a bit low with work and children around. So no world championships for me. As for Jack, he is still racing, but skipped the WC.

Don't forget Doug Twait in hydro 15.

In these heats it is important get to the finals so to get points and stay within the top 8 without. The finals will decide who will be WC.

Team USA is doing quite well after the first two rounds. Buckshot os leading in 7.5cc Hydro and Doug Twaits is leading in 15cc Hydro. Steve Ball and I need some good finishes to move up in 7.5cc Hydro.

Team Canada is also doing well with Doug Sick in the top 8 spots in 7.5cc Hydro and Kevin Traboulay sitting in good positions in 15cc Hydro.

The second round of qualification races will start Friday morning with thee top 8 places moving to thee Finals on Saturday.

The race course is tight and the heats are 6, 7, or 8 boats.

We are certainly having a great time and enjoying the French hospitality.

Good luck guys hope you all do great!
Boaters,
I received an update from France today.

Buckshot and Steve made the finals in 45-Hydro

Doug made the finals in 90-Hydro and 27cc Gas Hydro

And Buckshot made the finals in 27cc Gas Hydro also.

Doug tells me they know who the Americans are Now?

Good Luck Fellas,

Mark Sholund
