A person is selling this boat and was told it is a Steve Muck hull. Just want to see if it is or not.

If it's a glass hull, my guess would have been a Velesco as it looks very similar to one I have in my living room. I didn't see the air traps behind the sponsons initially. After a closer look, it looks like a wood hull, so my guess would be it was built off Roger Newton plans

wood - probably newton plans with mc intire or muck cowl

epoxy - velesco mc intire maybe steve cluck

steve muck made epoxy and poly glass 108-7207 - 7474 hulls
but hatch opening looks too wide for muck
john borden would know

epoxy - possibly Doug Sheppard 109-7402-7455 check pickle fork depth

Dave, I have a Velesco Circus hull(7474 IIRC) and it doesn't have the airtraps. It also doesn't have the break at the rear of the hull like the one in the pictures, it's flat from bulnose to transom.
Now then, Brandon, your boat should have a PFD of 6.41-7.84" since it's a model of the 7207. If it's a 7474 hull, that being the Valu Mart, it would have a PFD of 5.51-6.74". The other differences are that the 7207 was 6" longer at 29 feet, and 4" wider at 13' 4". I figure you can do the conversions to scale or look the boats up on the MHR

Well I went to look at it. It was a wood and glass boat. Not a Steve Muck hull..it must be the Muck cowl and Roger Newton plans. It was a sound boat and felt light for a wood boat. It would need a over haul as far as updating new hardware, radio box etc.

Brandon,
Dont know your ambitions for this hull, even if its free, I would buy a new Velasco or Steve Gualtieri, its fun to rebuild, but with a new hull, well its new...........
