I;ve been in and out of R/c racing for the last 15 or so years. Raising Kids and Building My Home. In My spare time, I built a Class I sport forty. Much to My shock ! It's no longer offered at the N.A.M.B.A., Nats ? Does Any one run this class anymore ?

In NAMBA they used to run a Sport-40/1 and Sport-40/2

Sport-40/1 was restricted to the K&B front intake side exhaust 40 engine.

So, what Dave is asking is about the Sport-40/1

Dave, prolly a few sitting on shelves out west, but none running. Sport-40/1 racers pushed the limits of the rules and in my opinion killed the class

Well there is, it just runs in the sp40-2 class now. I dont think sp40-1 has run in 20yrs. Kind of die off after the 96 nats.
