Hot Pipe Internal Stinger Broke

To be more specific, it came un-welded. I was running an after muffler at the end of the pipe as well. I ramped a buoy and rolled the boat. As I was draining all the water out I heard a clanking noise in the pipe and sure enough it was the internal stinger. I ran without it the next time out and seemed to run ok, albeit a bit louder. Do I need to be concerned about this at all? It’s a Gizmo Hot Pipe.

I had the same problem....same pipe....it was fairly still new and called Phillis at gizmo...she hooked me up...replaced the pipe...
