I am selling my 1/6 scale 1984 Gilmore Special. This is an RC Boat Company Hull. It has a Gizmo 29.5 Zenoah engine. Speedmaster Rudder Assembly and Strut. Also has 2 waterproof Savox Servos.
It comes with everything you need. Just add a battery, fuel, prop, receiver and you’re ready to run.
This boat has won multiple races.

Steven - is the section of water tubing ziptied onto the spark plug lead to stop random moisture affecting the ignition system ? Never thought to do this on any of my boats.

when you dont want to cut a large oversized spark plug hole, you use the tubing so that the cowl doesnt cut the spark wire

About how old is the hull and has it had any repairs?

I am not sure how old the hull is. I bought it from a guy in our club 2 years ago. I only raced it 2 times and I think he ran it for a season. If you look at the second picture you can see a little crack on the right rear that has been epoxied. Other than that the hull is in good shape. The cowling a little beat up. The boat itself is solid it probably needs to be painted but it can 100 percent be ran the way it is.
If you want I can send you some pictures of the engine well area later today.
If have carbon fiber down the whole thing.
