On metal tanks it catches it all. I clean the filters after every run. Stu and Spitzer introduced me to these filters, I never have anything in my filters with my plastic style tanks. Same Fuel, I have flushed those metal tanks, I even took the tanks to Walmart and put them in the paint mixing machine and flushed them with acetone, mineral spirits, alcohol, you name it. Anywho I flow through the filters and they work GREAT! You find them on Amazon easily.

I am trying to wrap my head around this.. polyethylene's, or... polypropylenes "melt" and they have no fiber in them.. if so how do they release a fiber that withstands the very chemical that breaks them down?

hum.... seems odd to me.

Those aren't threads... they're chains...
You know,, like molecules that join together and form molecular chains.... very technical stuff !!
