Engine Mods---HELP

Hey guys, I had an engine mod question for anyone who can help. I am familiar with the concept of changing timing on the exhaust, bu do not know actually how to do it. I guess my big deal is what do you use to gring with and what type of grinding do you do on the port? I have a CMB Redhead .21 OB.

They are on the SAW Sprint, still got the top decking to do yet, ran outta wood and had ta order some, Been runnin the rigger lately, soon as I finish the Sprint we will give them a go, I will let ya know how they work out.
