dumas eagle convesion

has anyone changed the dumas eagle to fast electric and what motor , electronic speed control , and battery pack did you use ....how did the eagle perform ? thanks bob

Do a search on Offshore electrics. Since its a sport 40 look at Q sport set ups.

I have to agree with Mark. One thing to remember is that the Eagle is not a light boat, being framed out of 3/32 mahogany. If lightening holes weren't added during construction, you will need a bigger motor to be competitive if you plan on racing it.
