It wasn't built for a class. I use 6 cell and low Kv for cool running and longer run times. (Less amp draw). A friend lives on a lake. We have a couple buoys out and race around them for fun. I could change the motor and run 4 cell for P Limited or P. Being so wide they handle great and stay pretty much right side up but there are faster boats in the P classes but they are narrower and sometimes don't finish.
