Is there a product I should be using for the bottom paint of a hull. I'm redoing an old tunnel hull. The top is going to be yellow and white on the bottom. Should the white be anything special? 3.5 Nitro Hot shot sprint

Using a clear over epoxy paint sort of negates the beauty of epoxy paint.

All my boats get Createx airbrush paint (lots of colors and types to choose from) with Spraymax 2k clear over the top. Totally fuel proof, easy to shoot, dries quick, fairly cheap.

Klass Kote is good stuff, but makes a huge mess out of your gun (and looks like garbage if you brush it), and unless you're using it as a single stage, there's really no reason to not use something else IMO

ok great, was wondering about the clear. If the 2k makes paint fuel proof, can I get away with using a rustolem paint?
