Just about finished up one of my projects. More excited to get this in the water than any other boat I’ve owned. Solid steering linkage set the motor 1/8 from the bottom of lowest point. New k&b 3.5.

LOL.. looks like fun.. I have had a few.. the last one I updated to a modern bottom.. at 40-43 MPH she would take off like a frisbee! LOL

I was going to put a tuned pipe on it but no way it will ever get to use all that power lol love the old boats you really have to drive them
 
My 1980's Dumas Drag-n-fly i stipped and redid , not a race boat but still fun! and Nitro Power!!

Probably not as i built this way back in the mid 80's but never got to run it when it got knocked off the dresser cracked the rear wing, and had fix strip to redo it all now brand new os.21 on it have not run it yet.
