Made up this little fixture to check the radial clearance in our bearings.

So far the WIB's I've tested are on the tight side of C3. I got some nominal and +/- Cerbec ceramic balls and am going to re-ball them myself.

what will you set them at?
.0008 is what my full complement where set at.

Yup, right around there.

C3 for 10 - 18 mm bores is 4 tenths to a thou, I'm gonna shoot for the high end.

The bearings I've checked so far have been around 5 tenths.

What bearing(s) are you running full compliment? How many balls? How do you get them all in there?

https://www.endurobearings.com/products/bearings/max/I would buy this bearing and Greg Settle would put the balls in them for me.
I did one set my self it is not hard the bearings have a slot cut in the races.
You line them up and use a punch to knock out a few balls till it comes apart.
Then do the same to install them.
Between .0008 and .0012 is the clearance to look for.
I have a set in my 1.01 RS now for many years and many gallons of fuel run threw the eng.
Have logged my 1.01 at 28000+ RPM with this set up.
It is the only bearings that will live in the VAC 1.05 eng. Have the same set in it for over 7 years.
Broke a rod and last time out the crank pin in this eng and still run the same bearing set.
Build you up a set you will not be disappointed.
