Building up a 24" brushless mono, I'm wondering if there is a standard balance point that I should shoot for? The motor and the battery are the heavy parts in the boat and I can mount them wherever in the hull with some helpful advise! If there are other certain factors that could play into it please tell me that as well. Thanks!

A good starting point for the cg on a mono is 30% from the transom, around 7 1/4" on a 24" boat.

Ok thanks you Martin. That matches the advise of another boater so 30% is what I'll go with!
