Backlash vs Backlash....huh

Yeah I'm at it again got a crazy idea from the wire drive post...if i build a g2 just like my g3 all things will be equal motor, pipe, drives, fuel, props...except for the design....question is which version of the backlash is better?
I know my G3 is fast very stable now and it attacks on command...just don't think the Gen 2 is better....what u guys think

You’re probably right about the Gen 3, especially when a little wind and chop are involved. Mine seems to wake up some when there’s a little chop and the boat was supposedly designed to handle rougher water. But I’m super interested in your experiment. Look forward to the results!
