What brand of Acid brushes are you all finding to be the best. A lot of them shed and I have tried cutting the ends but want to know if there is a brand that is far more superior than others?

drill a hole in the metal and add med ca ,holds the brushes.

Also, clean acid brushes in acetone before spreading epoxy with them. You'll be shocked in how much dirt and oil come out of them.

I get my acid brushes from McMaster. They come in a box of 144 brushes and that box will last me anywhere from one to five years.

I get mine from Harbor Freight. Clean them first but still get few hairs.

I bought mine from HF. Like many have already stated, I clean them in solvent before using them.
I also tried crimping the ferrule with a pair of pliers before I use them. Seem to help a little but they still would shed hair especially when I use it to apply glass mat

I bought mine at a welding supply store, 1000 brushes for $5.00, about 10 years ago. I'm still using the same box of brushes.

I crimp the ends in my vise before using. Sheading is much less.

Hi all here in Canada they tried to smoke me for $ 45 for 144 brushes at the local composite shop i always bought a gross of acid brushes when there was the Toledo show for $12 for 144 brushes and i always wash them in acetone.Regards Andris Golts.
